Biography
Ms. Acee’s civil and commercial litigation practice spans industries from entertainment and film to aviation and biotech. She has experience handling a variety of complex matters, including antitrust and unfair trade practice cases, licensing and distribution issues, contract disputes, and product liability litigation. Though she represents clients of all sizes, many in her portfolio are Fortune 500 corporations as well as other publicly and privately held corporations, financial institutions, motion picture distributors and pharmaceutical companies, among others.
Ms. Acee also has extensive experience in all aspects of employment litigation and compliance. She has successfully defended employers against allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and a variety of other claims.
Ms. Acee’s comprehensive litigation experience includes federal and state court jury and bench trials. She has also represented clients in proceedings before federal and state administrative agencies, including the Equal Opportunity Commission, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the Connecticut Department of Labor. In addition, she regularly arbitrates and mediates claims for her clients.
