He has over 18 years of legal and business experience in private practice, in-house, and as a technology company founder and investor. This experience affords Mr. Ferraro the ability to offer clients an integrated counseling approach that balances legal protection and corporate best practices with business, technical, investment and strategic considerations.

Mr. Ferraro’s clients include enterprise software and mobile developers, social media and gaming companies, consumer Internet and e-commerce businesses, music and entertainment companies, and digital creative agencies. He advises his clients in matters relating to entity formation and founder arrangements, corporate governance, seed and venture capital financing, employment and equity compensation, intellectual property protection, technology licensing and product distribution, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and SEC reporting and compliance. Mr. Ferraro also has significant experience in executive compensation transactions, often representing CEOs and executive teams in high-value M&A transactions.

Mr. Ferraro has substantial expertise in matters relating to digital media law. He was a co-founder of a digital media venture that was acquired by The Orchard (a Sony Music company) in 2012. He advises his media clients on matters such as data security, online privacy, content licensing, publishing and syndication, copyright and royalty administration, and regulatory issues relating to e-commerce, online advertising and Internet law under the DMCA, FTC Act and CAN-SPAM.

Mr. Ferraro is regularly recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer in Business/Corporate law. He serves on the advisory boards of numerous notable technology companies. Mr. Ferraro is the co-chair of MobiTechFest, the preeminent annual venture capital conference focusing on the mobile and wireless industry, and he is a regular panelist and mentor at a wide range of technology events and accelerators.
