Mr. Yacano leads the Firm’s Discovery Solutions team. He focuses his practice implementing information management and data management solutions in complex matters. Mark’s team collects and reviews paper and electronic data in complex commercial, products liability and intellectual property litigation. Mark’s team is experienced in fast turnaround document reviews related to government investigations, the regulatory approval process and transactional due diligence. He also serves as E-Discovery Counsel for Several Fortune 500 and 1000 companies.

Mr. Yacano and his team have significant experience in all facets of e-discovery, document and data management for litigation and corporate transactions including document and data retention, collection, analysis, review and production. 

Additionally, he and his team provide comprehensive consulting services related to document and data management issues affecting litigation. More specifically, the team’s consulting services include instituting document and data retention and preservation plans, creating and implementing electronic discovery response plans and teams, and selecting litigation technology service providers such as electronic discovery vendors and forensic data experts.

Mr. Yacano also has extensive experience in traditional litigation. During his career, he has represented pharmaceutical companies, automotive manufacturers, chemical and equipment manufacturers and other companies in both stand-alone and complex multi-action litigation. He has defended clients in various matters involving industrial vehicles, material handling systems, automotive parts, orthopedic implants, prescription drugs, medical devices and consumer products.
