Ms. Hague focuses her practice on the defense of professionals, including attorneys, accountants, physicians and nurses. She also defends products liability and personal injury cases, including trucking cases and cases involving catastrophic injuries and death, and warranty and lemon law cases for several major automobile manufacturers. She is currently managing the firm's warranty and lemon law cases in Virginia.
Ms. Hague has taken hundreds of depositions and has traveled nationwide deposing and defending various experts in complex medical malpractice cases, forming relationships with many of the nation’s top medical doctors. She has tried over a dozen cases in state and federal courts throughout Virginia and has successfully defended health care providers before Medical Malpractice Review Panels. Ms. Hague has also handled appeals to the U.S. 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Virginia Supreme Court. In the last four years alone, Ms. Hague has participated in eight different appeals, and participated in three oral arguments before the Virginia Supreme Court. These cases include:

Keeping clients’ business and personal interests in mind, Ms. Hague has negotiated favorable settlements for many clients, avoiding the time and expense of litigation. She has participated in dozens of mediations and other settlement conferences.
Prior to joining LeClairRyan, Ms. Hague enjoyed an active civil litigation practice, representing clients in a variety of matters including alleged breach of contract, tortious interference with business relations and unlawful discrimination.
