LeClairRyan’s Alexandria, Va., office is conveniently located across the street from the Alexandria Division of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA), popularly known as the “Rocket Docket” for having the fastest time to trial of any court in the country. In fact, LeClairRyan is the closest law firm to the courthouse.

LeClairRyan attorneys are highly-familiar with the Rocket Docket, and are routinely called upon to serve as local counsel and answer questions about practicing in our nation's fastest Federal Court. We've provided some general guidance about the Rocket Docket in the form of a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). The FAQ (in PDF format) can be found here: "Rocket Docket” U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia FAQs

In addition, our attorneys have created a criminal practice guide for the EDVA, which is available here: Criminal Cases in the EDVA
