Mr. Slocum is a commercial litigation attorney who focuses his practice on insurance defense and professional liability matters. He has broad experience representing clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters including business disputes, insurance coverage matters, construction projects, and contract and tort based lawsuits. He has an active professional liability practice representing design professionals, real estate brokers, attorneys, and other professionals in the defense of malpractice claims. Mr. Slocum also has experience representing financial institutions against lender liability claims, employers in labor law matters, and has experience with class action defense. He has represented clients in all phases of civil litigation, and has secured successful outcomes for his clients in the Massachusetts trial and appellate courts, in arbitration tribunals, and in non-binding mediations.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Slocum served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William J. Meade of the Massachusetts Appeals Court where he gained experience in legal writing and decision-making and became familiar with appellate practice in Massachusetts.

While attending Law School, Mr. Slocum was a member of the University of Richmond Moot Court Team and was a semi-finalist in the 2007 annual George Washington University School of Law Religious Freedom Moot Court Competition.
