LeClairRyan proudly announces that Rodney Adams, a shareholder in the national law firm’s Richmond, Virginia, office, and an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), is one of two recipients of the Jerry L. Norville Award for Outstanding Educator from the VCU Master of Health Administration class of 2018. Adams, who leads LeClairRyan's professional liability team, has taught Health Care Law and Bioethics at VCU for several years.

Roger Neathawk, co-founder and chairman of ndp, a Richmond-based advertising agency that serves healthcare clients nationwide, also received the award. Neathawk teaches Health Care Marketing at VCU.

“Rod Adams and Roger Neathawk are experts in their field, and provide our students with knowledge and experience well beyond the walls of the classroom,” said Carolyn Watts, Ph.D., chair of the VCU Department of Health Administration. “They combine core content with application in ways that engage our students fully. Their substantial expertise is complemented by a real passion for the students and their learning, and we are grateful for their continued contributions to our program.”
