LeClairRyan Adds Cybersecurity-Focused Atty From SF Fed


LeClairRyan has brought on an attorney from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco who specializes in privacy, data security, financial services and white collar matters and litigation, the firm announced Tuesday.

Peter Day has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a partner after his time at the Fed, where he served as privacy officer and chief information security officer and helped develop the Fed’s privacy and information security programs. He will advise clients on matters including privacy and information security issues, international data management, cross-border data transfers, financial technology, national security issues and regulatory compliance.

“The way I would put it is, I specialize in information,” Day told Law360.
