Biography

Mr. Romine focuses his practice on commercial real estate, land use, financing and business matters. He routinely serves as counsel for individual and institutional owners, developers, financial institutions, telecommunications companies and utilities in commercial transactions including entity formation, acquisition, financing, land use approval, zoning, restructuring, leasing and environmental compliance. He has published various articles on commercial real estate issues, served as an adjunct professor and is a frequent lecturer.

Representative Experience

  • Represented various national lenders in multi-state financing transactions.
  • Handled numerous zoning approvals for major FCC licensed telecommunications carriers across eastern and central Virginia and North Carolina.
  • Obtain land use and development approvals for national hotel chain expanding in eastern Virginia.
  • Responsible for acquisition and financing of large mixed use developments.
  • Managed and obtained land use approvals for national developer in expansion of retail stores across Virginia and North Carolina.
