Biography

Whit Long is an associate in the litigation department. Prior to joining LeClairRyan, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kurt D. Engelhardt of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He also served as a law clerk for several different firms, gaining significant experience handling medical malpractice and insurance defense matters.

During his studies, he was a recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Virginia Procedure, competed in the Carrico Moot Court Competition, and participated in the Woodville Elementary Mentorship Program.
