Biography

In 1986, Mr. Bogdan forged his way westward from the Jersey Shore to begin a lifelong career in civil litigation. He focuses his practice on construction issues and employment litigation and counseling. Mr. Bogdan frequently represents contractors in indemnity, injury and property damage actions, and employers in a variety of workplace and compensation disputes.

Mr. Bogdan serves on the Legal Advisory Committee of the California Association of General Contractors, and is a member of the Labor & Employment Section of the State Bar Association of California and the San Francisco Bar Association. His employment law articles have appeared in California Labor and Employment Law Quarterly, The Job Description, and the Defense Research Institute's For the Defense. He has lectured at Lloyd's of London, the DRI Employment Law Committee Annual Meeting, the AGC Legal Advisory Committee, and a variety of public and private audiences on employment and construction issues.

A native of the Bronx, New York, Mr. Bogdan received his B.A. in Political Science with honors and distinction from Pennsylvania State University in 1983. He earned his J.D. from Boston University in 1986, where he received the Bernard E. Farr Estate Planning Award.
